So here's the deal:

Introducing the Schlep Bag in Gerbera Italian Leather.

This is the classy grown up sister-tote to the playful Peace and Love totes.

(I wrote about Peace and Love earlier, and based on how fast those fly off our "cyber shelves" - I know you all love your totes!)

The outside of the bag is smooth and has a light shine to it. Inside the leather is exposed (as in no lining). I'm a big fan of that raw interior.

Like Peace and Love, it's deep (19") and wide (11.5"). This is the bag I'd run around with. If you're like me, you could easily carry your lunch, water bottle, book/newspaper, make-up pouch and wallet. I'd tuck my cell phone, iPod and handful of lip-glosses into the inner pocket. As I'd run out the door I'd throw my house keys in there too. As I made my way to work I'd pick up my morning hot chocolate (coffee or tea for most people) and muffin. The muffin, packed in it's paper bag, would get tucked into the bag too.

On weekends this is the bag I'd use to toss my gym clothes in, my workout notebook, book, iPod, water bottle (really that just goes everywhere!), wallet, cell etc. I bet I could fit my sneakers in there too.

Tees to Love

I think that there is just something about t-shirts that makes us love them and want so many of them ( i know i could probably start a store with how many i have). However, that does not stop me from wanting more, especially when i have so many great ones to look at and shop from at Roots.

The great thing about the Roots t-shirts are that you can get ones with great graphics on them and you can get plain ones that are great for laying and pairing with any outfit. Here are a couple of my favourite tees. The first one is the Helena V Neck T-Shirt which is definitely have..in a few colours and it is so great because it is a cute basic tee that is so versatile. You can wear it on its own, layer it over a long sleeved or layer it under a sweater or hoodie. It comes in four great colours for spring and is really a must-have when it comes to t-shirts.

The next is the Feel Good Akasha Tee which is a great graphic tee and also offer different inspirational messages/questions on each colour. It is made with 100% organic cotton so it is so soft to wear and it is environmentally-friendly.

Now i know you are asking where the guys tees are so here it is. The first is the Commonwealth Organic Ringer T-Shirt. This shirt is really great for a few reasons. The first is the great graphic print on each colour. It makes it seem that each colour is a totally different t-shirt which means you can buy all three colours! The next is that it is made from 100% Organic Cotton which again is super soft to wear and good for the environment. 

The next t-shirt is the Saltspring Organic T-Shirt. As with the previous one, it has a unique graphic on each colour. It comes in three great colours and is made with 100% Organic Cotton which is so soft you will want to wear it all the time.

Best Sale Picks - Get'em Before They're Gone

This post is for all the people who love shopping for things on sale and to remind everyone that Roots.com has some amazing items for amazing prices.

Here are a couple of sale items for men and women that i think are fantastic.

First is the Vintage Heather Tee for women. This t-shirt is so soft and so comfortable, it feels like that favourite shirt you have that is so comfortable that you would never get rid of it. That is this tee (i would know, i have a few of them) It is on sale for a great price and comes with the classic Roots logo on the front of it. 

The next thing for women is the Liberty Pant. With yoga and pilates being all the rage right now, people definitely want to dress the part. Yoga and pilates clothing can also be super expensive. Roots has a great pant that can be used for both yoga , pilates and even just working out. The liberty pant is a great quality pant for a great price. It hugs in all the right places and has a drawstring at the waist. I have a few Roots yoga pants and they are amazing!

Now, i didn't forget about the men out there, so these picks are for you. First i chose the mens Fashion Basic FZ Hoody. It is super soft and comfortable and has the Roots logo on the chest. This comes in a few colours but personally i really like this blue. 

The last pick is the mens Supreme Organic Tee. This tee has a really great graphic logo that i think will appeal to a lot of men out there, and it comes in three really nice soft colours for spring.
