Spring Fashion Trends 2009: A kaleidoscope of colours
It's only February and I can honestly say that we started off the season with a bang! First came the big and bold Magenta Collection lead by the softly curved Side Saddle.
Quickly followed by the eye popping Cherry Red. Both arrived just in time for that season of love... Valentine's Day. (Side note: There's one day left fellas! If you haven't picked something up yet, I suggest that a bag from either of these collections will make your Valentine very happy and leave you looking like a star!)
Our latest leather collection keeps with the Spring trend of colour, but comes from the cooler side of the colour palette.
I introduce to you...
Electric Blue.
Isn't is beautiful?
It is featured here in the popular Lauren Tote. As with all Roots leather bags, Electric Blue is made of 100% Premium Italian leather and handmade in Toronto, Canada. It's super soft and supple, smells great (admit it, you all love the smell of a good leather bag!) and comes with silver hardware.
The lining for this collection is a soft gray which looks awesome against the blue. This colour works so well with many looks, but I must admit I love it paired with dark denim - the blue on blue looks great, and it looks really sharp and clean against a white top.
But here's the catch my dear readers. I know you want to see the rest of the collection in Electric Blue and try one on for yourself. But this was a sneak peek.

Such a pretty bag and what a colour! HOORAH 4 BLUE!
I snagged the beach bucket bag in blue last year and I was a hit when I went on my trip to London! People were asking me where did I find the bag. And now I find another great blue arm candy to carry around in the streets of London! Ooh I cannot wait until it comes out!! Telling my sister to buy it for me!
