Canadian Music for You - Marianas Trench

Recently I reached out to our Twitter followers and asked them if they had any suggestions for good Canadian music that I could check out. I got a wide variety of answers from our loyal followers but felt compelled to let all of you know about one band in particular. This suggestion came from our friend @CdnFanGurl.

Marianas Trench is a band based out of Vancouver but from what I can tell, they seem to be taking all of Canada by storm. They are calling their current tour the "All to Myself 2009 Tour" but I would be willing to bet that they are giving crowds everywhere exactly what they want!

They have a fast-paced, edgy sound that is really cool and seems to go with the band's personality. These guys have some sweet instrumental action, mixing it up with some great lyrics and just from listening to them you can tell that they love what they do. This summer they'll be spending time across the country with tour stops in numerous venues in Ontario, PEI and Alberta so there will be plenty of opportunities to see them for those of us that are lucky enough to be in those areas.
